On Thursday, 18 April 2024, CyberSecDome hosted a two-hour workshop focusing on privacy protection, legal, and ethical considerations central to the project. The session explored the outcomes of the preliminary analysis conducted under Task T2.3, covering key aspects of the legal and regulatory framework relevant to CyberSecDome.

The workshop featured an expert presentation by consortium partner AEGIS and its legal team on the AI Act, highlighting its implications for the project and discussing critical legal and ethical considerations. Participants also engaged in discussions on the challenges and future directions of ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the NIS Directive.

This session provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of privacy and cybersecurity, as well as the frameworks shaping the development of new technologies in the CyberSecDome project.
